The appeal behind the disc golf collector market stems from the fact that, in the overall scheme of things, many disc models are produced in incredibly small batches when compared to the total number of disc golfers and disc collectors around the world. Some are produced in as few as 50-100 total worldwide. Even discs that are produced in quantities as high as a couple of thousand, easily have the potential to be collector items if they find an adoring audience. In fact many discs have done just that, selling in the $100-300 range.
